I’m in a trance (the combo system)

Jeremy was not totally happy with the way the combo system worked, so it got changed for the greater good.  It was a simple change which rewards better players for hitting more perfect notes.   This new system has a name and it’s called “Trance Mode”.

For some reason he seems to think he is the best player in the team.  Little does he know I had a perfect run on “Swing Me” on easy?  Don’t judge me because it is the first song and I played it on easy, as we all know we all got to start somewhere right?

The Announcer Says…..

In all the best games there is a random voice (the announcer) saying things to make you feel special, so we did just that. Not only does the announcer let you know how well you are doing by screaming random words such as; “You’re too cool” or “Amazing!”, but he also puts you down when the going gets tuff, just to add insult to injury.

Here are a few words you may hear when playing Perplex Beats, call him our local cheerleader.

• You’re too cool.
• Amazing.
• It doesn’t look good.
• Outstanding.
• Keep it up.
• You got it.

We cannot tell you them all; otherwise we will spoil the surprise.

The Collectables (Preview)

The post name speaks for itself really. I remember posting something a couple of months back talking about collectables, because of that a close friend of ours stepped up and re-designed them all. They are better than the ones I drew up, (If i had my way, my ones would have stayed) but the ones i did looked like something  a 4 year old would do with crayons, but then again there are some gifted 4 year olds……. But I wasn’t on of them.

Just incase no-one posts again, I thought i would shout out and say MERRY-CHRISTMAS. So here is our gift from the Preanima team,  some collectables.   Aint-it-pretty!!

Make Over??

Here is a question; does anybody watch the home improvement programs or the makeover shows? Well I am a huge fan of them, so today we would like to show everybody some new screenshots of the makeover we have given Perplex Beats.  If I had my way, I would hide under a rock until the game was finished, but I have been told multiple times that we have to show stuff off.

So enough talking and more showing here are the latest screenshots.
